AZ4000: Totaliser and electronic preset counter
The AZ4000 measures the electric charge passed through an electroplating process. A six-digit electromechanical totaliser displays the accumulated value and can be reset with a key.
A separate six-digit electronic preset counter measures the charge for a batch. When the set value is reached, its relay output can operate the connected process control or rectifier. The preset counter can be reset at the front panel or using an external push-button.
Pulses for an external dosing controller
An optocoupler output sends counting pulses to a suitable external pump controller. That controller converts the pulses into dosing strokes. This version does not include an integrated DSZ dosing timer.
Match the shunt and counter
The standard input accepts a 60 mV shunt signal or an equivalent rectifier signal. The display is calibrated for the shunt’s rated current and the required unit. Ah and Amin are available according to calibration; other quantities such as As or metal weight are available on request. The MB indicator monitors the measuring signal.
