The new generation of 4...20mA transducer transmitters for measuring electrical conductivity in liquids.
The measuring range of the MW22 and MWTA32 for ultrapure water application is 0...100 nS / cm with a resolution of 0.1 nS to 0...200 mS / cm, with the MW22-1000 it is 0...10 mS / cm to 0...1000 mS / cm.With both types of transducer, the conductance measuring cell is contacted via a 3-wire connection. The advantage is that the cable length no longer has a negative influence on the measuring accuracy.
Galvanic isolation of the conductivity electrode from the supply voltage and the analog outputs is mandatory.
The MW22-1000 transmitter and the specially developed 3-wire conductivity electrode with 5-pin M12 connector and a cell constant of 1 offer the possibility of measuring up to 1000 mS / cm with a very high accuracy.
The MWTA32 measuring transducer is installed directly in the TA32 immersion fitting. From the immersion fitting pipe directly to the PLC. This saves installation and wiring work.
The NTC sensor installed in the conductivity measuring cell is used for temperature compensation of the conductivity value and for measuring the temperature, which is output via the current output.
The configuration of the measuring transducer is very simple. Connect the transmitter to the PC using a USB cable, call up the configuration software and configure, that's it.
