Drying Cabinet

1. Type, format and estimated volume of data generated by the product

The drying cabinet generates and stores only the following technically required operational data:

• Regeneration logs: The last 6 regeneration processes, stored as raw data in EEPROM/Flash memory.
• Error logs: The last 10 recorded error events.
• Internal measurement data: e.g. humidity value (Humi), current firmware version, MAC address, error codes.

The data is stored internally in a device-specific binary format and is provided for display or download upon request via the web interface.

2. Capability to generate data continuously or in real time

The device can display status data in near real time. No continuous external data transmission takes place.

A local UDP broadcast signal is periodically sent within the local network for device discovery. The transmitted data includes:

• MAC address
• Firmware version
• Error code
• Humidity value

Under normal network configurations, this signal does not leave the local subnet.

3. Data storage and retention period

All generated data is stored exclusively locally in the internal device memory. No automatic transmission to external servers takes place.

Retention period:

• Regeneration logs: ring buffer with 6 entries; oldest entries are overwritten.
• Error logs: ring buffer with 10 entries; oldest entries are overwritten.

No unintended or unlimited storage of personal data takes place.

4. Access, retrieval and deletion of data

Users can access the following via the local web interface:

• Download regeneration logs
• View error logs
• View current operational values

Manual deletion of stored data is not available, as the ring buffer automatically overwrites older entries.

Certain parameters (e.g. target humidity value) can be adjusted via the web interface. Additional device settings are available through a hidden expert menu.

5. External data transmission and embedded services

The device does not actively communicate with external systems. When accessing the web interface, static files (e.g. JavaScript libraries) are loaded from a company-operated web server.

Additionally, the browser may request the file update.js. During this request, the MAC address of the device is transmitted to display device-specific information (e.g. available firmware version). This data is not shared with third parties.

There is no automatic firmware update. Firmware updates of the control logic can only be performed via USB. Updates of the web interface may be applied locally or loaded dynamically from web resources hosted by the company.

6. Technical access methods and service quality

Access is exclusively via the local network using:

• HTTP-based web interface
• UDP broadcast for device discovery

There is no manufacturer backend, no cloud connection, and no user account management.

Service quality depends on the stability of the local network. An internet connection is not required.
